Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is an essential part of the F&M community. Our primary goal is to foster a welcoming climate for students, faculty, and staff members by promoting core values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. We believe that every individual has the right to feel valued and respected, regardless of their background or personal identity.
To achieve this goal, we provide direct student and administrative services, programming, and consultation. Our services include mentoring trainings, workshops, and cultural events that celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity. We work closely with other departments and organizations to create a safe and inclusive environment that benefits everyone.
We are proud to be a part of a collective campus-wide commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Our efforts are in line with the values of the college as a whole as well as our new strategic plan. We believe that by working together, we can create a campus culture that embraces diversity and promotes equity and inclusion for all.

F&M is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming campus community; in turn, it is
the responsibility of each person within the Diplomat community to join in creating
an environment in which others can thrive without fear, hate, or bias. All community
members, including students, faculty, and staff, may use this online form to make
the College aware of these incidents.
Please note, this form should not be used to report allegations of sexual misconduct. Those reports should be made using the Sexual Misconduct Reporting Form.
